TeX Live 2019 in Debian
About one week ago we have released upstream TeX Live 2019, and after a few iterations fixing packaging bugs, the Debian experimental suite now has TeX Live packages based on 2019.
All the changes listed in the upstream release blog apply also to the Debian packages, but we have rebuilt binaries from the sources in current svn, which means there are several fixes for dvipdfmx, and updates to the ptex family of engines.
The currently available versions in experimental are
- src:texlive-bin 2019.20190507.51032-1
- src:texlive-base/lang/extra 2019.20190508-1
- src:context 2019.03.21.20190425-1
- src:coontext-modules 20190425-1
There are also updates to texworks and texinfo available in experimental.
As soon as buster is released and sid is open for updates again, these packages will be uploaded to unstable/sid.
