Senmaida (千枚田) is one of the famous sight seeing spots on the Noto peninsula. Every year they do some light up with candles, but for this winter the have planned a new event, with led lights lighting up the fields and tracks throughout the winter. For that they also use only solar power, for which they will appear in the Guiness Book of Records for the biggest solar powered led backed display (or whatever).
Besides the very nice atmosphere we were entertained with life music, food stalls, and a small fire work. All in all well worth the trip to far Wajima.
